I Have never been a writer but I guess this is where I start. I also wasn't much of a reader in the past. I will aslo need to start reading if I am going to know how to write. I don't know how to classify myself as a writer yet and I don't know if I will find out until I try several styles. I might just stick to my own experiances modified slightly to make a better story. In reality I don't know what I am going to do.
To be completely honest I never wanted to be a writer and I only took this class for the english credit but now that I am here I might as well see how I write, if I like writing, if I like my writing, and if others like my writing.
Well, I suppose that this is the place to start if you want to learn how to write. Anyone who really tries can write something descent, even if it is not a talent they have. So don't worry, and good luck. :)

ReplyDeleteContinue to stay open-minded. And don't worry if other people like your writing. It sounds hippie, but the only thing that matters is what you think of it. I hope you have fun...and get more than just an English credit out of this class.
Well to be honest, i loved your honesty haha... but all i know is that i love writing and hope that you find that you do too! my favorite part of writing is to be scarcastic and show my voice to my readers! That is how i started to even care about writing. i just started having fun with it!
ReplyDeleteI think you will enjoy learning how to write. I just started over the Summer, and I learned some things about writing. It's really fun and opens doors to opporunities and whatnot.
